I'm Melissa Benintendi...
I am a professor, teacher and consultant that specializes in Somatic Psychology, EMDR Therapy, and EcoPsychological approaches to healing. I partner with Beyond Healing Institute to offer EMDR Therapy Training and other Continuing Education Trainings for therapists and Mental Health Professionals. I am a Doctoral Candidate completing my dissertation work through California Institute of Integral Studies. My research focuses on the way body to body encounters create deep and lasting change in our functioning.. My greatest professional desire is to return us to the authority of our own embodied experience and promote the leadership of body wisdom in healing.
